This is the story of a child who at the age of six discovers a precious treasure and a love and experiences a passion, strong, intense, true, as only the passions that arise when one is a child can be. The child's name is Valter and at a certain point he becomes passionate about the "search" of truffles, one of the most mysterious and precious fruits of the earth that exist in the world. A love that will accompany him throughout his life. Today Valter is no longer a child, he is a man who built his family around a winery in Santo Stefano Belbo, Piedmont, among the hills covered with vineyards in one of the most admired places in the North West of Italy. There, for centuries, men and women have been cultivating vines and harvesting grapes from which some of the most toasted wines and sparkling wines are made. A place whose beauty is so rare, intact and enriched by ancient villages, cities of art and breathtaking views that in 2014 Unesco included it in the world heritage sites.
